求道とは実行である

求道とは実行である

　いくら素晴らしい教えであっても、これを実行しなければ、それは絵に描いた餅にすぎない。例えば、積極心を身につけるにあたって、感謝の念が重要であることはよく知っているはずだが、いざとなると不平不満が先行してなかなか実行が伴わない。

　その点、傑出した先達に見られる求道の精神は文字通り絶対不断であった。積極心を本当に絶対的にしたければ、その手始めに、一切の不平不満を感謝に置き換える努力を怠らないことである。

Seeking is execution

"No matter how wonderful the teachings are, if you don't put them into practice, they're nothing more than rice cakes in the picture." For example, when it comes to acquiring a positive attitude, you should be well aware of the importance of gratitude, but when it comes down to it, complaints and dissatisfaction take precedence and it is difficult to implement it.

In that regard, the spirit of searching for the truth seen in outstanding predecessors was literally absolute. If you really want to make your positivity absolute, the first step is to make every effort to replace all complaints with gratitude.
